Low Income Housing

MVHO manages about 20 units that require household income to be no more than 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The AMI is determined for our area by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and depends on the number of individuals living in a household.

For these units, we take referrals from the Access Center and our traditional partners, but will also accept anyone who is eligible. There is no requirement to be homeless or disabled, just the income requirement.
